"Voters"

These images are part of a larger project I shot on the streets of Kharkiv in 2014-2021. An attempt to explore through street photography the processes that took place in Ukrainian society between the Revolution of Dignity and the full-scale Russian aggression. And to reflect the background anxiety that has been with me all these years.Kharkiv citizens do not yet know that their city will become a front line. They just live. And they vote for the life that seems good to them.
